What Do I Bring?
We have compiled a list of SUGGESTED, not mandatory,
items that will assist you in having the most comfortable camp and safest ride.
- Riding boot with smooth sole and some heel, tennis
shoes are OK, no lugged-sole shoes (most hiking boots), please.
- Long sleeved, light material shirt and long pants.
- Good fitting hat
- Rain Gear of your choice.
- Sun screen, all year.
- Camera, extra film.
- Sleeping Bag and Pillow
- Adult Beverages (not to be consumed before or on
rides)
Rafter 6 provides Tents, water, drinks, food, cots,
and mattresses. Sleeping bags can be provided if necessary, for an additional fee.
Do
you have to be an experienced horse back rider to participate in the rides?
No, in fact the majority of our guests have little
or no experience riding. We can teach you the basics, ensuring your comfort and safety.
We have helmets available for any guests that wish to use them.
Can you prepare Vegetarian meals, rather than
the Steak dinner mentioned?
Absolutely, we can accommodate any and all special
dietary requests, and prepare tasty dishes to your liking.
If our party does not meet the 4 person limit,
can you join us with another party?
Yes, we will do our best to join you with a party
that would be compatible with yours.
If our party does meet the 4 person minimum,
do we HAVE to include others in our group?
No, in most cases, if you request a private camp,
we can accommodate. However, sometimes this may prove impossible, but we do our utmost
to achieve your wishes.
Where is Prescott, Arizona?
Prescott is the approximate geographical center
of the state of Arizona. Prescott is 90 miles north of Phoenix, and 100 miles south
of the Grand Canyon. Prescott has so much to offer, and we recommend you visit the
Chamber of Commerce's website at .

Limitations: We cannot accept
riders younger than 7 years old, or riders that weigh over 240 lbs, pregnant women,
any riders with mental health or physical conditions and/ or disabilities that may
affect his/ her safety and ability to ride a horse.
Refund/Cancellation policy: All deposits are non - refundable, however may
be used for a future date, for any of Rafter 6's programs. Rafter 6 must be notified
14 days prior to camp if guests must utilize the transfer of deposit option. There
are no refunds or transfers of deposits for no shows, no calls. There are no refunds
or transfers for unused portions or days by guests. Rafter 6 reserves the right to
alter itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances. If Guest minimum of 4 for each
Cowboy Camp out or Chuck Wagon Dinner Ride is not met, Rafter 6 reserves the right
to cancel 30 days prior to camp.
