Steve and Kathi Rafters
are your hosts at Rafter6 Outdoor Adventures. Steve and Kathi are in their
eighth year of being in the trail ride business for themselves, although
Steve has plenty of past experience in the industry.
Steve has lived in northern Arizona for 30 years. He has worked on many of Arizona's
famous large cattle ranches, along with numerous small outfits, and brings these
experiences and traditions into your adventure.
Kathi, however, is the brains of the Rafter6 outfit, with her organizational skills
and wonderful camp recipes which are put to use at the Chuck Wagon.
Rafter 6 Outdoor Adventures grew out of Steve and Kathi's desire to work the life
they love, being outdoors and with horses. Their intention for this family run business
is for their guests to have a totally enjoyable experience while learning the
history and traditions of the Old West. For example, one of the traditions that you will experience
are cow camp etiquette that has been passed down for 120 years, and is still in use
on roundup wagons to this day.
Northern Arizona is rich in Western History, and it is the Rafters' greatest
pleasure to pass this information along to their guests, while riding the backcountry
or sitting around the campfire. The Rafters invite you to join them, and look forward
to making your experience with them an adventure the whole family will enjoy. At
Rafter 6, it's the details that make the difference.
